Firstly, I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined our Kick-Off party at Dexter Apartments in February, it was great to see all of you! We hope you enjoyed the chance to walk through this property, The Dexter project has been a huge success for the Walls Property Group team, and we couldn’t have gotten this far without our team of investors.

 

Scope of work: Thanks to our construction team, 10 of the 13 existing units have been completed. Out of those 10 units, 80% have been leased or occupied. Glass installation on the new railing system has started throughout the building, and is on schedule to be completed in the coming weeks. Framing for this railing system was put in place several weeks ago, and once the glass is delivered from the manufacturer we will begin the installation.

 

Units 101, 201, 301: Work will continue through mid-May for all of the units located on the north side of the building. We are expecting the ’01 stack to reach completion in early June, and pre-leasing will begin in Mid-May. 

Permitting: We have received the permits for the roof deck and carport unit and will begin construction upon lifting of the COVID-19 Shelter in place order in our area. Typical construction timeline for this project is expected to be between 4 and 5 months.
